8 Reba McEntire Revealed How Her Career Changed After Her Divorce

McEntire recently revealed the effects her divorce from Narvel Blackstock has left on her. In an episode of Apple Fitness+ Time To Walk, Reba stressed that her career was hugely affected after her husband, who happened to also be her manager, left. She said that there were four men taking care of her business who were gone: her production manager, her CEO, her ex-husband and manager, and her deceased father. This forced the Queen Of Country to start micromanaging the details of her life and career.

7 McEntire Says She Was Guided By Her Faith

Also, in the Apple Fitness+ Time To Walk episode, Reba declared that her faith helped her get through life after her divorce. She said she had run it all through God, who guided her through every step of the way. McEntire added that without her faith, she would have been in the unknown in her career today. This is not the first time that the Country Music Legend discussed her faith in public. She has done that several times before and credits God with her achievements.

Since 2020, Reba has been dating Young Sheldon’s star, Rex Linn. McEntire described Linn as a Very Sweetheart Of A Guy. Reba and Rex knew each other since they starred together in Kenny Rogers's movie The Luck Of The Draw in 1991.

5 She Launched Her Three-Album Retrospective 'Revived Remixed Revisited'

Reba just released her new three-album retrospective, Revived Remixed Revisited. In the discs, Reba features a total of 30 of her most-loved songs. In the first disc, Revived, she included some of her best songs in live concert arrangements. In Remixed, the second disc, McEntire created new remixed versions of some of her biggest hits, such as The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia. In the third disc, Revisited, Reba recorded her first duet with Dolly Parton.

4 Reba Unveiled A New Music Video For 'I’m A Survivor'

The Country Music Hall Of Fame member included a remake of her song "I’m A Survivor" in her new disc Revisited. On October 1st, Reba surprised her fans with the release of a new music video for the remake of the song. McEntire celebrated the video in an Instagram post, revealing that she didn’t have the chance to shoot a music video when she first recorded "I’m A Survivor." But she’s happy to do it now. 3 McEntire Will Take The Lead Role In 'Christmas In Tune'

Reba never gets tired. The star is getting ready to release her new Lifetime movie Christmas In Tune on November 26, one day after Thanksgiving. 2 She Was Rescued From A Building With A Collapsed Staircase

Reba McEntire doesn’t only sing "I’m A Survivor," but she is also a survivor in real life. In September, the Country Music Legend was rescued from an old historical building when a staircase collapsed. The star revealed in a Twitter post that she was well and that no one was injured. She also thanked the quick response of the Atoka, Oklahoma fire and police departments. Reba was removed on a fire ladder from the second story of the building.

On October 5, McEntire celebrated with Melissa Peterman the 20th anniversary of her TV sitcom series, Reba. The show aired from 2001 to 2007, and Reba played the role of a single mom whose husband left her for a dental hygienist. Reba and Melissa hosted the UPtv Facebook live on October 5 (The day the sitcom series Reba started airing in 2001).
