For allergy sufferers, the Mayo Clinic gives tips to alleviate your allergies which include:

  • Know the forecast to know which days will have little relief
  • Close your windows to reduce indoor pollen

Warm, wet and humid conditions increase mold allergies and dust mites but alleviate tree pollen.

Allergy season is slowly growing, with an increase in the growing season. It's been a very slow growth since 1970, but Lynchburg's growing season has increased by 10 days.
