DIY Coffee Sugar Scrub

You guys know I’m obsessed with body scrubs, right? I make my own sugar scrubs 90% of the time but still enjoy splurging on a good spa scrub every once in a while. I mainly make mine at home because it would cost a fortune to buy them as much as I use sugar scrubs. I truly believe using body scrubs regularly is a great way to exfoliate dry skin and replenish moisture. With the colder months ahead I keep scrubs stocked in my bathroom and kitchen sink to avoid dry hands. This coffee scrub is also great as an overall body scrub. You can use it on your face (avoid eye area), arms, legs, and areas with stretch marks or cellulite.

How To Make Coffee Sugar Scrub

This coffee scrub is made from fine coffee grounds, brown sugar, almond oil, vitamin e oil, and orange essential oil. The antioxidants in the coffee work as an anti-inflammatory that will make your skin appear firmer. It’s not a miracle scrub that will get rid of stretch marks and cellulite, but it does help temporarily reduce the appearance. When making this scrub try to use finely ground coffee. The finer grounds will help gently exfoliate the skin without irritating it. Once the dead skin cells are removed your body will absorb moisture effectively, leaving it feel renewed and smooth.
