It's finally the best time of the year. The cold has set in and it's Christmas time! I love Christmas. It's one of those things which I wait for all year long. Decorating for Christmas and baking for Christmas are two o my favorite things to do in December.

And after all of that, comes the turn of this creamy and chocolaty mug of Hot Chocolate. I like to sip hot chocolate while decorating my home for Christmas or enjoying my favorite Christmas Movies. Curling up on the couch with my favorite and softest quilt and enjoying my cup of Hot Chocolate is my kind of celebration of the holidays...

What I love about this Hot Chocolate
It's no news that Hot Chocolate is a gentle reminder that it's officially the most beautiful time of the year. And Hot Chocolate is best enjoyed in the cold months watching Christmas Movies

I love that this Hot Chocolate is extremely chocolaty and there is non of that cocoa which just gives you a baking flavor.
I love Marshmallows. In fact, I melt the Marshmallows in my hot chocolate before serving and then enjoy them.
Of course, the Peppermint Candy Canes are so delicious!!
That splash of Vanilla to make it feel just like Christmas 🙂
Ingredients used to make Hot Chocolate
- Steamed Milk
- 100gm Dark Chocolate
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp Heavy Cream
- Marshmallows to make Snowman
How to make Hot Chocolate Recipe Without Cocoa Powder

- So, you begin by Steaming the Milk. If you want to make Dairy-Free Hot Chocolate, then use Almond Milk or Coconut Milk as a replacement.
- As the milk gets steamed, throw in a brick of Dark Chocolate.
- Add the Pure Vanilla Extract and Sugar to this.
- Stir over medium-low flame and allow the chocolate to melt.
- As the Chocolate starts to melt, add the heavy cream and stir until combined.
- As the hot chocolate gets prepared, it's slowly going to get thick and creamy.
- After about 2-3 minutes, over medium-low flame, take it off the heat and serve immediately.

- To make the Marshmallow Snowman, insert two marshmallows in a skewer. Make the face and hands of the snowman using a food marker or melted chocolate.
