I'm curious as to how big peoples worlds are, I've been working on a world for about 4 hours and it's like 8 MB..... sooo what are yours and how long have you been working on them for? :smile.gif: Rollback Post to Revision RollBack I MADE MY SIGNATURE =D

the size of the map does not depends on how much you build :tongue.gif: It kind of depends on how much you explored or how mu chunks is generated. I have a save file that goes to 300+ mb cuz i travelled to x=50000 while my main world save file is only a few mb Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Well my Main is up to 173Mb, and could get it to 200 by exploring my snow biome. Also have a 11Mb and the rest range from 3 to 6 Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

I pruned it a bit so it would take less space. So now it's only 75 MB Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

My biggest world was around 400 on minecraft 1.3 . Used to have couple castles, couple dungeons discovered and a lot of mining caves Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

My save file's 72.1 MB and it's full of s**t. I have a couple of cities, 6 tops, roads, subways, amusement parks and other stuff. Not to mention i started it in a desert and in 1.7 Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Add me on Steam (kiko19972), i'm online most of the time over there and will probably reply back to your message ASAP.

Have a 15k x 10k world that is 2.45GB from old 1.8 and a 10k x 10k current world form 1.0.0 that is 2.6GB (that is folder size, for some reason the minecraft world menu doesn't show the size anymore so I assume it is around the same thing) Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

My biggest file is about 200, but that's the same survival map that I've maintained and explored since alpha. The adventure map in my sig is something like 130 mb when unzipped. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

The server that I play on is 2.2GB and going. It's from exploring for strongholds. Apparently. Trololol. My friend went on a trip over the ocean that lasted 3 hours... >_> They get bigger. ;o Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Live and love freely.

Press the windows button and type in %appdata% and it will come up with a folder called Roaming, in this folder there will be another folder called .minecraft click on that go into saves and hover over your worlds and it will tell you some basic info, or right click and hit properties on whatever world. The big one is really 20k x 10k but because it is designed like this: It is equivalent to 15k x 10k in size. It is the middle earth map made my d3souz4.
