swissbeatz S Hi everybody, after many tries, I have never manage to do some nice donuts with my girlfriend's car. That's an automatic speed 528i BMW. I have done everything but the car doesn't want to do a nice donut. Is there someone who knows how to burn tires in an automatic speed car ????? I want to see the tires smoke, an many noise. I'm a little bit fool, I know but I like this kind of game. Never do that thing in an open road. Depending on hom much power you have, you may have to hold you left foot on the break (so as to get the wheels spinning) then your off. I can comfortably do this in a 318is, so with more power, it should be easy...... #3 · Dec 13, 2003 Listen to Lonman as he is the resident expert on doing donuts:p . Just take a look at some of his finest examples in the Gumball videos and the upcoming Mischeif Invasion video! #4 · Dec 13, 2003 Other useful donut info Not that I have a lot of experience at doing this in my car, but a few Hertz rentals have provided the following: 1) Put car in 1st not Drive so tranny won't shift 2) Turn steering wheel to full left or right 3) Brake with left foot, right foot on gas to the floor. 4) Release brake and you should be off. 5) While spinning around turn wheel to the opposite stop and car will swing around the other way. 6) Watch out for curbs in parking lots! For some smoke, pour some bleach on the pavement just ahead of the rear tires. Let us know how you made out! #5 · Dec 13, 2003 hehe able to do this with 523iA? :D 170 pure german horses. with a tomato box! :p #6 · Dec 14, 2003 Re: Other useful donut info

And rule nr.1>>>>>>>>>> traction control OFF :1: #7 · Jan 9, 2004 My moms E34 525 auto didnt like donuts, so I would corner at the limit, and while keeping the gas pinned I would steer hard the opposite direction. That sent the tail out and made some very nice donuts indeed! Be careful though, as some autos will shift up automatically if the engine gets in the redline, and that usually kills your fun. Good luck! #8 · Feb 22, 2004 Also add a little Armorall or other glossy tire treatment to the tread . That stuff is slick as snot. Insert Quotes Post Reply
