What is need to do?

• Keep farming in the "crimosn cave".

I am trying to farm Souls of Nught on the Crimson, in that underground cave were you usually build the arena and fight Brain Of Chtullu. I need to go deeper or there is something wrong with my world? And if I need to g deeper, how I make Crimson deeper? I need to wait till it spreds or to use crison seeds? (I don't gave the Clentaminator, I cant defeat any of the mechanical bosses yet, I need to make beter gear and ammo for my Assaoult Clocwork) Thanks for reading and helping me

You'll likely have to go deeper than the naturally spawned crimson cave. If you're unlucky, the crimson of the "V" of hallow & crimson spawned by the wall of flesh may have cut only through the jungle, where it will take quite a bit of time to spread. Otherwise, with a little bit of searching, you should be able to find a underground crimson biome somewhere underground. You can also smash more demon altars in hope of spawning crimson blocks underground, but those will also take time to spread & find. You could bomb crimstone parts of one of your surface crimson biomes and then create an artificial biome of 200+ crimson blocks deep underground. If you have a depth meter or one of the items it's used to craft, then you can see what layer of the world you're in (space/surface/underground/cavern/underworld). Last edited: Jul 27, 2015 R

If you can hear the underground crimson track, you should be able to get souls. R

You said 200+ blocks. Is this in all the worlds on just the small one? I am on the large (yhea I know... mistakes were made)

If you have a Depth Meter, go down in the crimson/corruption, until the depth meter says "caverns". They Don't drop unless you're in that layer or below (They can also drop in hell, if you have crimson there.)

It's for all worlds. 200 crimson blocks is the minimum amount for a crimson biome. Essentially just make 1 large group of blocks in the cavern layer and expand it until you start seeing the underground crimson mobs spawn.

Souls start dropping in Crimson/Corruption at the cavern layer, when you enter that layer and you are in crimson/corruption, there is a 20% chance of it dropping from every mob there (36% in expert mode).
