Apr 24, 2011 246 0 18,760 Hey everyone! Sorry if this is in the wrong category I couldn't make sense of a better place to put it. But anyway, I recently become a substitute teacher in a school district. The school is pretty old and has thick brick walls. Makes reception extremely spotty to practically non-existent inside. I'd like to know if there is a way to increase or boost my service with maybe a home made antenna of some sort or something I could buy. I don't want to spend a fortune on it. I'm on Verizon Wireless and I've got an iPhone 6 with a thin rubber case. And NO I'm not intending to slack off on the job all day! It's just we have 40 minute periods and when I have free periods or lunch I get bored out of my mind especially if I have consecutive free periods which happens often. Yes there is computers here but they are pretty locked down and require admin passwords to get on most sites (Except Tom's hardware thankfully ;]) It's also way easier to Google something from my phone then log onto the computer every time a student asks me something. Thanks guys! Solution There is no way due to the thick construction of those types of buildings. Some phones get better signals than others. Sort by date Sort by votes Dark Lord of Tech
