Title. I am consistantly in the 90s range and this seems to make the game run too fast. I may be wrong and the game is running normally, but I would like to lock the frame rate to check and compare. Is there a simple mod to add a frame cap like there is with Skyrim? #2 dragongodofgames View Profile View Posts 26 May, 2018 @ 7:09pm https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43784 #3 MadCorps View Profile View Posts 26 May, 2018 @ 7:44pm

It's working well, so far. Thank you. For some reason, that mod never came up in any of my searching. #4 talgaby View Profile View Posts 27 May, 2018 @ 10:39pm It is a very barebones ENB preset, actually. You can also just use the Nvidia dashboard if you have that card or MSI Afterburner in general. We used to do it with the NV Stutter Remover plug-in, but it stopped being functional a few months ago. #5 piss baby View Profile View Posts 10 Jan, 2021 @ 11:19pm

AMD has the same.

First I've heard of widespread "broken" issues for ENB - outside of misconfiguration problems. #9 Mandrake42 View Profile View Posts 4 Oct, 2021 @ 7:26am

You lock it using your graphics drivers. I have Nvidia so I go into Nvidia control panel and where the change resolution section is you can set the resolution AND the refresh rate. I have mine set at the highest res but then lock it to 60 mhz while I play New Vegas. Just remember to unlock it when you finish in the Mojave wasteland and want to go back to playing other games. #10 TOMMY View Profile View Posts 11 Aug, 2022 @ 11:28am

not sure why everybody has to have such a stupid convoluted response to this.... just right click your desktop > display settings > advanced display settings > 60hz...you dont have to download anything or change settings with nvidia this takes 5 seconds #11 NefariousPBO View Profile View Posts 23 Aug, 2023 @ 6:41am i know this is old, very old but if anyone else has this issue i have got your solution. just download MSI afterburner [(with RivaTuner Statistics Server) included in the download]. it will allow you to do many things including limiting FPS for certain games or for everything PC-wide. just please don't mess with its overclocking abilities unless you seriously know what you are doing.https://www.guru3d.com/files-get/msi-afterburner-beta-download,37.html Last edited by NefariousPBO; 23 Aug, 2023 @ 6:47am #12 Sassy-H420 View Profile View Posts 15 Apr, 2024 @ 2:38pm

My display (Benq TK700STi) has a different response time in different resolution and fps settings. If I change this setting, it changes my response time. I am looking for a way to limit the game only, not my display. Most games have this setting and it is a non-issue. #14 < > Showing 1-14 of 14 comments Per page: 1530 50 Fallout: New Vegas > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 26 May, 2018 @ 6:47pmPosts: 14 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
