So heres my problem i was messing around with my gauge and my gas needle ended up falling off so i just placed it back, and put it back on zero, thing is i had no idea how much gas i had, i believe i had a half tank so after reassembling the gauge and turning on the car, the needle went up a to a full tank which i know i did not have so i readjusted it and put it a little below half a tank because i had let the car run for a while, i thought it was all fine but i had my doubts so i let the gas needle drop around E waiting for the gas indicator light to come on but it hasn't, i still have gas in my car but its very close to E. i don't want to risk it and empty out my car waiting for the gas light to come up, but i know I now my gas needle is all messed up. Does anybody know how to reset it. Any advice on what i should do?
