How can I say thanks (My tribute). Andraé Crouch* (1942–2015).  ‘My tribute’, composed in 1971, is one of the signature songs by Andraé Crouch. The final chapter of Crouch’s autobiography, entitled ‘To God be the glory’, is from the song’s refrain, which is an allusion to the hymn ‘To God be the glory, great things He hath done’* by Fanny Crosby*. In the language of his African American Pentecostal heritage in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) tradition, the composer offers his own Soli Deo Gloria.
