Hi everyone! This is my first grow and I have 2 rooms that I can use to dry. One room I can keep completely dark but won't be able to control the temperature at all and most likely daytime temps in there will be around 80 degrees. The second room has an A/C unit and blackout curtains but it is my bedroom and the TV light will be on most of the time. ( The room is small and the TV is huge if that matters ). Which one do you think I should go for? I welcome your opinions thanks!

I keep my room dim. Sometimes im growing a few clones in there so my hanging buds do experience indirect light. Humidity and temp are more critical than light from a screen. I suggest you choose a room where humidity is 50-60% and temps are 60-75° and there is some air circulation. T

Thank you. Since this is my first and maybe my last grow I really want to get it right. Even though it will be a total PITA I think I will relocate the A/C unit to the first room where I can control both the light and the temp/ humidity T

I have been taught that optimal time to harvest is when 70 percent of trichome are cloudy and 30 percent are Amber but I notice the majority of you guys are recommending waiting till the greatest majority are Amber. Doesn't that mean the thc is starting to degrade?

Yes it does to some extent. It all depends on the buzz you're after. Uppy/racy, couch lock, in between. Once your trichs are mostly cloudy the harvest window is open. S

60f and 60% humidity with a 10-14 day dry is the best T

Damn that's so messed up you always need to keep your garden a secret the more people you tell about it the more chances if it getting stolen. How did u find out she did it? I'm assuming you found some on her or seen her threw a window T

She brought her daughter and her boyfriend over and I had a really bad feeling. The next morning they were gone. I did not like or trust this person from the start but didn't feel I had the right to tell my roommate he couldn't have her come over just for that reason. This is so messed up, it has taken me to a really dark place where I don't want to be. I want to exact revenge so bad but know in my heart I have to let it go. I also can't help but wonder if my roommate was involved and it is really hard to even be near him right now. I don't want to talk to or see anyone I just stay in my room feeling so miserable and thinking hateful thoughts. This is so fucked up on so many levels!

why do people gotta steal plants. Damn that pisses me off. if someone wants weed I'll even give them clones or seeds but don't steal my hard work......sorry for your loss. I too have had my plants stolen in the past it sucks balls. I now tell no one well except on here where no one knows where I live or who I am.......but you know the old saying if you at first don't succeed....try try again

Pick your head up and just try to get out of your living situation. Go to the craigslist and look for share rentals to get the fuck out of this place.

Corner them...tell them you know it was them... and ask for the weed back. If they refuse....FUCK UP whatever it is they have. Sugar in the gas tank works wonders to clue in folks like that.... or...hell....drop the dime on 'em and let the local po-po know these folks have weed for sale. I'd never do that to anyone...unless they are a thief...then all cards are off the table and paybacks are Hell. A THIEF DESERVES NO LESS.

Let me get a few things right. You say this is your first grow. How many plants where you growing... How does someone just steal the plants from your house so free will without worry of recourse? There is way more to the story you are not sharing. Why does your roomates friend know you are growing? Why does she have access to that room? For first grow what where you really growing strain wise. Post pictures of this soo called grow; everyone takes pictures in society. So if you have a stranger that knows about your grow, surely you have pics. Cant imagime it would have been large, unless you are some natural and knocked it out the park first try..

At least pop in the room with your cellphone, quick snap and upload file . Also if she stole the plants wouldn't she risk being seen with "plants smelling" again show some pre harvest pics or about to be chopped plants T

Thanks for the words of support I appreciate it. Unfortunately this was probably my one and only chance to grow as I can only do it outside and I won't be here next growing season
