Adjust the radius and arc of your Hunter PGJ spinklers for full coverage. Hunter sprinkler heads are fully adjustable in the water coverage area. The PGJ sprinkler head is gear driven and sprays water from the right arc to the left arc setting. Increasing the radius of a sprinkler head drives the water farther away from the head. Adjusting the arc and radius of a sprinkler head is easy to do and allows full coverage of the lawn, plants and trees without overlapping coverage, thereby conserving water.

Tip
Replacement Hunter wrenches are available at home improvement stores carrying Hunter sprinkler products and online.
Sprinkler head radius is the distance that water travels from the sprinkler head.
The arc controls the left side stop of PGJ sprinkler heads. Factory left side settings are at 40 degrees.
Adjust sprinkler radius and arc to cover all areas for watering without overlapping coverage. Overlapping coverage leads to water pooling, grass remaining soggy and lawn diseases of mold and mildew.
Warning
Adjust the arc on sprinkler heads so they do not spray water on driveways and sidewalks. Continued watering of concrete or rock areas may leave the area wet, turn it green and form mold and mildew.
Mold and mildew on concrete is slick and may cause slipping accidents.
