Search term How do I download a My Media video?

By default, only the owner (uploader) of a video to My Media can download the video.

Note: Owners may change the ownership of a video. This will allow the new owner to manage and download the video and remove the video from the original owner's My Media. For directions on how to change the owner of a My Media video see: "How do I change the ownership of a My media video?"

Heading anchor Click My Media on the left hand navigation panel in Canvas

This displays your My Media list of all video that you have uploaded.

Heading anchor To the right of the video you want to download, click on the Edit icon (pencil)

This displays the video editing page

Heading anchor Click Downloads

This displays the download options for this video

Heading anchor Checkmark Source, then click Save

This allows the source file format of the video to be downloaded.

Heading anchor Click Go to Media

This displays the video player

After clicking the download icon, the video will immediately begin downloading. You can find this file in your downloads folder on your computer.
