Each time I try to drop something I keep being told that I don't have enough room to drop items. What does that mean when all I want to do is drop items on the floor where I happen to be standing. The way I've been dropping before was to highlight the item in menu and hold the mouse button for a few seconds, then he would just drop them on the floor. Right now I'm stuck unable to move and I can't see how to get around it. While I've got your attention can you also tell me how to sheath my weapon/drop my fists,everywhere I go there is something in my field of vision, a sword or a pair of hands and I've tried the Skyrim button that I would normally use to sheath but no luck.

Check Options > Controls. Sheathing your weapon can be done with the same button you use to pull out your weapon.
