So it seems that in cases where you can't C&P is just a matter of how much content you're trying to paste. Try one or two sentences first. Less is more while getting the hang of it. I was able to clear up my issue. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack- Out of the Water

Yeah that's a given, but say you typed a whole story up in a word processor....you can't copy and paste the whole damn thing. It won't/shouldn't work. You gotta break it up. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack- Out of the Water

Probably trying to past too much, as SirOswald has said. I find it easier to just type things directly into the book -- depending, of course -- I think there's like a 255 word/character limit per page. If you try to paste more than the single page can hold, it won't work. It doesn't automatically feed it into the next page, so you need to play around with how much you paste and adjust accordingly. when i try to select and then copy something on the minecraft chat it wont select or copyFor Macs its "command" + "c" to copy and "command" + "v" to paste

Curse PremiumYou can use shift + arrow keys to select text, ctrl+c to copy it, then ctrl+v to paste it. Can do this in chat, cmd blocks, enchantmenttable,anvil. Cannot do this in books. There is no way at the moment to copy/paste in books. get a mod that adds there own books with theese function!
