How Do I Remove Highlight From Pdf When I No Longer Need It?

I have highlighted text in yellow to bring attention to it, now I need to remove highlight. It used to be an easy on -off click, but this is not working in the new version. No simple drop down to select or deselect color highlight

Edit Answer (for another 11 minutes)

Basically select it and press Delete. If you want to select multiple highlights at once you can do so in the Comments List panel, under the Comment pane on the right.

With the hand tool or the selection tool active, hover over the highlighted text. The cursor changes to a black triangular arrow. Then, you can right click (control click on a Mac) to bring up the context menu and choose delete.

If you have another tool active, such as the edit text and images tool, you won't be able to select the highlight.
