How do I safely remove my AirPods case?

Removing the lid of the case:

Slowly pull the lid off to ensure that the semi-permanent gel pads do not get damaged.Removing the bottom of the case:Push from the charging port at the bottom (either with your finger or with a charging cable) until the AirPods case loosens. Once it has moved a little, pull it from the top to ensure that you don’t damage the AirPods case hinge. We have also created a video tutorial for this which can be found here!
