How do you get to Sunyshore City in Platinum? 2 votes 40,657 views

When you go to lake valor you have this this path and there is this dude who blocks saying that there is a blackout and you can't go through!

If you have beaten the 7 gyms, your next step is to rescue the spirits from the lakes.

Next, head to Mt. coronet - Finish the place and defeat The Bosses and grunts.

Then, you head for distortion world - a mase like place where Giratina lives in. Finish the place and battle giratina ( you should capture it ).

You will end up in sendoff spring. After this, the man blocking the way to Sunyshore City will be gone.

Now you have unlocked Sunyshore, where the last gym is. Beat him and you get accses to the Pokemon League.

That city isn't available until you foil the plans of Team Galactic. Don't worry about it, as of now. :)

Go around and beat all the gyms you can and talk to everyone you see. You'll find out how to advance throughout the game.

You need to beat the snowpoint gym, go to the lake next to snowpoint, then go to veilstone and go the the team galaxy warehouse, free the three "Spirits of the lakes" then travel to the peak of mt. coronet, do what you need to do there (varies from each version) then you can go to sunyshore

You need Giratina and you need seven gym badges and then go to where the guy was blocking you to sunyshore city.
