How Do You Spell The Colloquially Shortened Form Of Breakfast?

Breakie? Brekky? Breaky? Brekkie? Breky? Breci?
EDIT 6 YEARS LATER…
This blog post ranks well in Google and those curious to know how to spell ‘the colloquially shortened form of breakfast’ probably arrive here disappointed!
I have done some further research.
Although ‘breakfast’ obviously has ‘break’ in it, when shortened and adding ‘y’ or ‘ie’ upon first reading, it could easily sound like ‘brake eee’.
And so the only two left as genuine contenders in the final: BREKKY and BREKKIE.
I spoke to a linguistic expert and her conclusion was that both are acceptable because phonetically they both clearly communicate the same idea.
My final decision?
BREKKY.
1) I used to work in a youth centre that ran a “BREKKY CLUB”
2) BREKKY is shorter than BREKKIE and so does a better job at abbreviation.
BREKKY IT IS.
