    I've been trying to get some cats, but I'm seeing conflicting info on google. How does cat spawning work in 1.16.4?

    In short, when a player near a witch or village, cats will make attempts to spawn near a random player every few minutes. If the player randomly selected is not in these areas, it will not spawn a cat. This means the more players online, the less cats you will find.

    I belive its 10 beds and 10 villagers, and they do not need jobs. Keep in mind this is from memory, so it might not be true
