Distance between Cornhole Boards
Footage
From the front of one Cornhole board to the front of the other board should be exactly 27 feet. From the front of the hole on one Cornhole board to the front of the hole on the other board should be 33'.
Quick Trick
You won't always have a tape measure handy, and walking it off(measuring with your feet or strides) doesn't seem to work too well. What I did was placed the boards exactly 27 feet apart(using a tape measure). I then placed a hook under one of the boards and tied a piece of string to it. From there I stretched the string until it touched the front of the other board and cut it off. So now when I set my boards up, I just unravel the string, stretch it out, and there is my 27 feet.
Foul Line
There is an imaginary foul line at the front of each Cornhole Board. When a player is throwing, neither foot can be across this line. There are also additional foul lines, which are 3 feet on both the left and right sides of each board. Some say there is an additional foul line behind each board, but I say if a person is silly enough to stand further back, then have at it.
