However, I was also using an older i7-6700k intel CPU which has been known to be a decent gaming CPU. It was a quad core and the new Ryzen 5's are great gaming CPU's. So add in the fact that your RX 580 boasts an extra 10-12% performance increase over the 480 and newer CPU along with much better memory than I was using at the time, and you might even see slightly higher average frames.The only negative when using the RX480 was when stopping by the Tower. How? i got a 2080 and a 6700k from 3 years ago and get 165+ fps at 1440p with the game at max settings. Maybe check if the game is running at higher scaling, or if stuff like Geforce experience switched it to 4k when automatically optimizing the game, i know because it happened to me and i was barely doing 100fps too after that. What? I have a cheaper variety Asus RTX 2080 on Ryzen 7 2700x and I regularly run 130+fps, sometimes even maxing out my monitor at 144@1440p (super resolution). You should be seeing much more than me. Have you checked to see if your settings are limiting your frames? I can Run it at 4K 60fps with DoF Turned off and shadows on low with everything else maxed. I usually play in 1440p max with DoF still of and everything else maxed though.
