Whether you are interested in the story or more in the character progression, you probably want to know how long it takes to beat Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Because it is a living game, beating it is not necessarily the end of the road, but it should help give you some perspective on how long it takes to understand the story and level up an individual class.

How Many Missions Are There In Aliens: Fireteam Elite?

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is divided into 12 different missions over four operations. The four levels take you through four different environments and introduce new enemies. Each mission takes between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. Be wary, however, that if you and all the teammates die, you have to restart the mission from the beginning.

How Long Does It Take To Beat Aliens: Fireteam Elite?

With an average of half an hour for an individual mission, it should take about six hours to get through the Aliens: Fireteam Elite campaign. This is only assuming you do not fail any missions or repeat prior missions to increase your combat rating.

If you are playing on the Standard difficulty there might come a time when you have to replay a prior mission just to reach that next level or level up that gun so that your combat rating reaches the recommended level. With this in mind, expect to spend between eight or nine hours with Aliens: Fireteam Elite.

For completionists who want to get every trophy and achievement, you're looking at closer to 12 hours.

Different Classes

Being a living game, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is designed to be played over and over again. Currently, there are five classes to choose from and they all level up separately. If you are interested in getting all these characters through the story so they reach an appropriate level and combat rating, you can spend well over thirty hours going through the campaign in Aliens: Fireteam elite multiple times.
