A fast-paced, third-person looter-shooter, it’s safe to say that Outriders has a lot to offer. But you might be wondering how long it takes to beat it.

Honestly, how long it takes to beat Outriders is not an easy question to answer, as it will vary very much according to how you play. One important thing to consider is the game’s World Tier system, which allows you to keep increasing the game’s difficulty in order to get better loot providing you prove yourself. Continually play with the World Tier set as high as you possibly can, and of course the game will take longer to complete.

With that in mind, if you play with the World Tier set at a level that provides little challenge and head straight through the main story missions, you’ll likely beat Outriders in around 10-12 hours. Honestly though, it’s not the best way to play it.

If you enjoy playing Outriders, you’ll undoubtedly want to complete all of its side-quests, and raise the World Tier to its maximum so you can acquire and equip the best loot. Do that, and you’ll find that it’ll likely take you about 40 hours to beat it, or complete it. But even then there’s still more to go at if you want.

Achievement and trophy hunters will have to play much more to clear up some of Outriders‘ more pesky challenges, and there’s an end game mode called Expeditions to consider. It presents players with many expeditions to undertake, and multiple challenge tiers to unlock. The higher the challenge tier, the higher the chance there is to obtain better loot. And you’ll need the best loot to progress through expeditions mode and take on yet another challenging boss. Needless to say, it could add tens of more hours of playing time for those intent of achieving the task.

So, those charging though Outriders‘ story doing little else could complete it in around 10-12 hours, while those taking their time and doing all side quests are likely to beat it in around 40 hours. Those wanting to see and do everything Outriders has to offer, however, could end up playing it for 60 hours or more.
