Red Dead 2's main story alone can take 40-60 hours to complete, though you'll find yourself spending considerably more time if you want to attain 100% Completion (and even that doesn't cover everything you can do throughout the game).
Here are our best estimates for how long it will take you to organically complete Red Dead Redemption 2:
Main Story: 40-60 hoursCompleting Chapters 1 through Chapter 6 and the Epilogues should take roughly 50 hours.
Stranger Side Missions: 10 - 15 hoursNot counting the time it takes to track down all of the collectibles associates with quests, like Cigarette Cards or Rock Carvings.
Collectibles: 15 - 30 hoursThese take considerably less when you use our guide, particularly for Rock Carvings, Dinosaur Bones and Dreamcatchers.
Challenges: 10 - 25 hoursThere are 9 types of challenge to complete in Red Dead 2, completing them will unlock new items at the Trapper.
