Are you playing Minecraft Dungeons and wondering how long it’ll take you to beat the game? Read on.

As a dungeon crawler, there is no real ‘end point’ in Minecraft Dungeons. Once you’ve completed each of the game’s levels on the standard difficulty, you’ll likely play them through on a harder difficulty, and so on. The idea is that you’ll come up against greater challenges, harder enemies, and find better loot.

If you do want to stop after completing all the levels once, though, you’ll probably complete Minecraft Dungeons’ story in around five hours. This will vary depending on how you approach the game. If you simply run to your objective markers, you’ll perhaps finish the game a little quicker. If you take time to explore, then you may spend a bit longer.

It will also depend if you’re playing by yourself or with friends. When playing in co-op, it’s easier to clear through enemy mobs, and you’ll likely find battling the game’s bosses a little easier.

But after completing Minecraft Dungeons‘ story, you shouldn’t feel like you’ve ‘completed’ the game. We’d heartily recommend you jump back into the levels again, levelling up your character and finding better equipment.

That’s the whole joy of a dungeon crawler, after all. The journey to becoming a stronger warrior is never over. At least, not until you’ve tired of the game, that is. Personally, we’ve put about 15 hours into the game so far, and still have plenty more to go.
