How long it would take to complete pilot training in Singapore would depend on your goal. To get a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in Singapore, you will need an average of 1 to 2 years (in some extreme cases 3 years). Whereas you will need around only 3 to 6 months to obtain a Private Pilot License (PPL). Not all pilot licenses allow you to get paid for your service. You are not allowed to charge others if you only hold a Private Pilot License. By completing your pilot training in Singapore with a Commercial Pilot License, you will be able to work for some Airlines. However, you would need to review their hiring requirements carefully as some Airlines require an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) depending on the position.
