If it's above 60 and dry condition about 10 min it will turn white when dry you can use a hair dryer to speed drying up also no need for sandpaper can use a wet sponge to smooth out tim · May 18, 2015 8 people found this helpful. Do you? Yes | Report Depends on how much you have applied. It's best to just apply a thin layer which will dry in 10-15 minutes and will turn white. You can then lightly sand it (I would recommend a sanding block to keep it even) and then reapply another coat. KWM · May 18, 2015 6 people found this helpful. Do you? Yes | Report It depends on the size of the hole you are patching. If it's a small shallow hole, I would say 15-20 minutes. If it's a deep hole, it could take 30+ minutes. Do you? | Report It dries fast 10-15 minutes (and I live in Seattle where it’s humid). This product is a thinner FINER spackle for small holes or finish coat on top of a heavy course spackle.
