What is Pam & Tommy about?

Most people will have heard of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, one of the biggest celebrity couples of the 90s.

This series follows the fallout of the release of Anderson and her new husband and Mötley Crüe drummer’s sex tape.

When is it on?

There are eight episodes of Pam & Tommy altogether.

The first three episodes of Pam and Tommy were first broadcast in the UK on Disney+ on Wednesday 2 February 2022 at 8am.

The following five episodes will air weekly on a Wednesday.

Who stars in Pam & Tommy?

Lily James

Lily James But she is better known for her roles in Cinderella, Rebecca and Downton abbey.

But it is amazing what a wig and fake tan can do, because she is unrecognisable from her usual “English rose” image, and plays Pamela Anderson, one of the most famous sex-symbols in the world at this time.

Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan is another amazing transformation.

Better known as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he plays rocker Tommy Lee, and is covered in the drummer’s tattoos, has black eyeliner, long hair, and a goatee.

Seth Rogan

Seth plays Rand Gauthier, a disgruntled builder who broke into the couple’s home and stole their safe – in which there was the sex tape.

He is best known for comedies such as 50/50, Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Superbad.

Speaking to Variety, Rogen shared: “The vast majority who are acting horribly are doing as such from an exceptionally basic spot. I needed to play Rand as somebody who has next to nothing happening in his mind. Somebody whose eventually shrewd demonstrations aren’t done out of some astonishing and profound point of view, yet in reality out of a total absence of reasoning and thinking often about what his activities would mean for others.”

Nick Offerman

Nick Offerman plays Uncle Miltie, real name Milton Ingley. He was Gauthier’s accomplice and helped him sell the tape online.

Offerman is best known as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation, but has also been in Fargo and for hosting NBC’s Making It.

Taylor Schilling

Taylor plays Erica Gauthier, a porn star who is on Pam’s side.

She has previously starred as Piper Chapman in Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black.
