You need to know a conversion factor between pounds and kilograms. You can find this in a dictionary or in a table of conversion factors but I found it using Wikipedia. I found that 1 gram is 0.0220 pounds. Thus 300 grams is 300 × 0.00220 = 0.66 pounds.

You can also fin the result by asking Google. Go to Google and type 300 grams in pounds into the search window and Google will respond with 300 grams = 0.661386787 pounds.
