A series about acceptance, friendship, and determination, Naruto was the story of a young boy who wanted to be great despite only having known rejection and neglect. The series had fans hooked ever since the first episode when every viewer simply knew that they wanted to be a part of Naruto's journey to greatness.

More than 700 episodes, several movies, OVAs, and countless fillers later, fans across the globe are still obsessed with Naruto. The series is split into two parts with the first part being simply "Naruto" and the second part being "Naruto: Shippuden." How Many Seasons and Episodes Are in Naruto?

Naruto which covers the titular character's journey as a young boy training to become a ninja began in 2002. Part one of the anime series, simply titled "Naruto," features Naruto training along with two of his classmates Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno under the wing of Kakashi Hatake. The three go on several "missions" along with Kakashi, as a part of their training in order to advance to the next level of becoming a ninja.

Naruto is split into 5 seasons with a total of 220 episodes. The series ends with the three classmates parting ways in order to complete their individual training to become stronger on their own. However, this isn't the end for the show as a whole. The series then continues with part 2 of the anime titled "Naruto: Shippuden."
