Tight end Rob Gronkowski is in his ninth season with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Since his rookie season in 2010, the Patriots have made four Super Bowl appearances and Gronk has won two championships with the team.

One victory came at the close of the 2014 season and the other in 2016.

Gronk was a starter for the Patriots during Super Bowl XLIX victory on Feb. 1, 2015, when New England defeated the Seahawks 28–24. He made six receptions for 68 yards and one touchdown during his first Super Bowl championship win.

The 29-year-old New York native was also part of the Patriots Super Bowl LI championship squad during the 2016 season, but did not play after being placed on injured reserve in early December that season following a back surgery.

Tom Brady led his team to a comeback win over Atlanta in Super Bowl LI, scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter to take the Falcons into overtime where they secured a 34–28 win.

Gronk's second Super Bowl ring marked Tom Brady's fifth. Both will search for another championship when they take on the Rams in Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019.
