How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

When face fillers are injected into the dermis (the thickest layer of skin), they instantly plump up and smooth the target areas, giving you a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers also increase collagen production in your skin over time, effectively reversing some of the effects of aging. What Kind of Dermal Fillers Are There?

At Derma Tech Medical Spa, we offer the following types of facial filler: 

Bellafill®: 

Made from a combination of collagen and the synthetic polymer polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It’s a great choice for the elimination of nasolabial folds (lines that run from the nose to the edges of the lips). The results of Bellafill® can last up to five years.

Juvéderm®: 

The Juvéderm family of fillers are broadly used to smooth facial age lines and add volume to aging skin. These fillers use a specially prepared hyaluronic acid (HA) compound to reduce the signs of aging in the mid-facial area and to add fullness to cheeks and lips. 

Radiesse: 

Made from calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) compounds, which immediately add volume to any facial areas. Radiesse also stimulates the production of collagen. 

Restylane: 

This is a series of dermal fillers that each have their own benefits. Restylane serums can be used to diminish deep wrinkles and nasolabial folds and plump the lips.

Sculptra: 

Made from poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra adds instant volume to diminish deep smile lines and stimulate the production of collagen. 

How Much Do Dermal FIllers Cost? 

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, dermal fillers are priced at a cost per syringe. The price varies depending on the type of filler and its contents. Most patients require more than one syringe to achieve the desired results.

Example costs:

• Calcium hydroxylapatite fillers, such as Radiesse: $717
• Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane and the Juvéderm® series: $684
• Polylactic acid fillers, such as Sculptra: $853
• Polymethyl-methacrylate microspheres, such as Bellafill®: $1,058
