How Much Does UFC 261 Pay-per-view Cost? When ...

A rematch between welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and challenger Jorge Masvidal will headline UFC 261 on Saturday.

Here’s all you need to know about the event set to unfold Jacksonville, Florida, and available on ESPN+ pay-per-view:

What time does it start?

The five-fight main card, which includes three title bouts, is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. ET April 24. Usman and Masvidal will duke it out in the final fight, so the exact timing of their entrance into the octagon will depend on how the other matches transpire.

Preliminary fights begin as early as 6 p.m.

How much does it cost to watch?

The main card is available on ESPN+ pay-per-view for $69.99, and the streaming services also includes several bundle packages for customers who want to lump the purchase of UFC 261 in with subscriptions to Disney+ or other products.

Preliminary fights will stream on the main ESPN+ platform, so you can watch those without buying the pay-per-view fight. A subscription to ESPN+, which airs hundreds of sporting events a week and includes a library of shows and documentaries, costs $5.99 a month or $59.99 for a year.

Who else is fighting on the main card?

Here is the full main card:

  • Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal (for Usman’s welterweight championship)
  • Weili Zhang vs. Rose Namajunas (for Zhang’s women’s strawweight championship)
  • Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jessica Andrade (for Shevchenko women’s flyweight championship)
  • Chris Weidman vs. Uriah Hall (middleweight)
  • Jimmy Crute vs. Anthony Smith (light heavyweight)
What happened the last time Usman fought Masvidal?

Usman defended his welterweight title belt back in July after Masvidal stepped in as his challenger on short notice for UFC 251 in Abu Dhabi. Gilbert Burns had been pegged as to face Usman but dropped out about a week before the fight because off a positive COVID-19 test.

Using a defensive style, Usman controlled the fight and didn’t allow Masvidal — known as a fierce striker — to land any blows. Judges awarded Usman a victory with a unanimous decision after five rounds.

To see if Masvidal can fare better Saturday with more preparation on Usman, consider placing an order on ESPN+.
