Member Oct 27, 2017 25,548 One thing I've noticed is Link and Zelda's age varies depending on the game... Like in TLOZ both are about 10 years old, but in Zelda II, they have aged up to about 16. Ocarina of Time has them at about 10 in the child half and 17 in the adult half. (Or is it 9 and 16 years old?) Wind Waker, I think they are both 12 years old. (with his sister Aryll looking like she's around 7-9 if I were to guess) Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild, I can't pin their ages down exactly. This is just a fun little guessing game. But is there anything concrete?

So, even disregarding any later info, he was about 10-13 in the original LoZ.

In most of the others I would say it's more vague but I doubt he's older than a teen in most of em. Feels oldest in BOTW. He could be near 20 in there I feel. DiipuSurotu

The manual of AOL says Link is away many seasons and comes back to Hyrule at 16, where he is introduced to the "original" Zelda, placed under a sleeping spell, with no mention of the one he rescued years before. Of all the things that needs to be changed in Zelda canon. I really hope if AOL is ever remade, they keep the Zeldas the same. It would be so much more sense.

If we accept the Hyrule Historia timeline, that means that Link was even younger in A Link to the Past. He was likely 11 to 13 there. I am not sure if that really matches up with the official artwork, though, which makes him look 14 or 15.

Fighting through a Hyrule that is completely under control of Ganon. Fighting a version of Ganon that has the Triforce of Power in his possession, while Link hasn't even awaken the Triforce of Courage within him (that happens in Zelda 2), a rudimentary equipment compared to other Links, no bottles to store recovery Fairies.... And he beats the challenge, all while being 10 years old. Little guy could teach all the other Links a thing or two. The next best Link would be the one from A Link to the Past.
