Dylan O’Brien is an American actor best known for his lead role in The Maze Runner trilogy. He was born in 1991 in New York to parents of European descent. His mother ran an acting school, giving Dylan early exposure to the fundamentals of acting. Initially, he wanted to become a sports news broadcaster, and he also developed a strong interest in social media, running a popular YouTube channel that helped him gain attention from TV producers.

He made his acting debut in 2011 with a lead role in Teen Wolf alongside Tyler Posey, a show that ran for six successful seasons. During that time, Dylan also appeared in films such as The First Time, High Road, The Internship with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn), Deepwater Horizon, and of course The Maze Runner series.
