Gaten Matarazzo is a young American actor best known for playing one of the main roles in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. He was born in 2002 in New Jersey and grew up alongside his two siblings. Since childhood, Gaten has lived with cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD), a condition affecting bones and teeth, for which he uses dentures. Despite this, he has pursued his passions for acting and singing from an early age, supported wholeheartedly by his parents.

Gaten began performing on stage and in videos as a young child and appeared on Broadway in the early 2010s. He made his screen debut in 2015 with a small role in The Blacklist. A year later, he landed the main role in Stranger Things, sharing the screen with Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, and other talented actors.

In addition to his acting career, Gaten Matarazzo is a member of the rock band Work In Progress, showcasing his musical talents alongside his acting achievements.
