John Stamos is an American actor and musician of Greek descent, best known for his role as Jesse Katsopolis in the TV series Full House and its sequels. Born in 1963 in California, he grew up helping his father and grandfather in the family restaurant business while pursuing his biggest passion—music.

Though he dreamed of becoming a musician, John’s acting career took off in 1983 when he joined the cast of General Hospital, quickly gaining recognition for his talent and charm. Early TV projects included Dreams, You Again, The Disappearance of Christina, and The Larry Sanders Show, before his iconic role in Full House solidified his fame.
