Kendall Schmidt is an American singer and actor who became famous as part of the TV series Big Time Rush and the boy band of the same name. He was born in 1990 in Kansas and, together with his brother Kevin, began acting in early childhood. He appeared in various TV commercials and even landed a small role in Steven Spielberg’s film A.I. Artificial Intelligence.

In 2001, his family moved to Los Angeles to support the children’s growing interest in acting. Kendall went on to obtain recurring roles in popular TV series such as Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, Without a Trace, ER, General Hospital, CSI: Miami, and others, which helped him gain wider recognition.

In 2009, he joined Nickelodeon’s musical project Big Time Rush, a series about four young men chosen to form a boy band. The real-life group released several successful singles and three studio albums before splitting in 2014. Since then, Kendall Schmidt has focused more on producing. He owns the record label TOLBooth Records. He is married and became a father in 2024.
