Lil Skies is a young American rapper, songwriter, and musician known for his catchy hip hop hits. Born Kimetrius Foose in 1998 in Pennsylvania, he grew up in a musical family—both of his parents were involved in music. Lil Skies started rapping and singing at the age of four, with his father, a hip hop singer himself, encouraging and supporting his early talent. At 11, he even contributed to his father’s album Father-Son Talks, marking his first musical recording.

In 2016, after leaving university, Lil Skies decided to pursue music full-time and quickly gained attention, supporting Fetty Wap on tour. A year later, he released his first mixtape and singles like Red Roses and Off The Goop, both reaching Billboard’s top 100. His next mixtape included the hit Nowadays, and in 2019 he released his second studio album, Shelby. With his unique style and undeniable talent, Lil Skies continues to grow as a rising star in the hip hop world.
