Toni Braxton is a hugely popular American singer, who started out in a family group called The Braxtons.

Born in Maryland on October 7, 1967, Toni is 51 years old.

Her debut solo album, which was self titled, reached number one in the Billboard Chart and launched her hugely successful music career.

Over the years she has won numerous awards, including seven Grammys, nine Billboard Music Awards and seven American Music Awards.

She has also had an impressive career as a television executive producer and TV personality, with her show Braxton Family Values.

When did Toni’s neice die?

On April 30, 2019 it was revealed that Toni’s niece Lauren Braxton had died at just 24 years old.

Lauren, who was the daughter of Toni’s brother Michael Braxton Jr., passed away from complications from her heart condition, her dad told TMZ.

Michael and Toni are the older siblings of Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar.

He also works as a singer-songwriter and has appeared on episodes of his sisters’ reality show, “Braxton Family Values”.

When did Toni Braxton get engaged to Birdman?

Toni Braxton revealed she was engaged to rapper Birdman in February 2018.

She made the announcement on her reality TV show Braxton Family Values.

The pair have been dating for three years but have kept their romance low-key.

Toni was previously married to Keri Lewis, with who she has two sons, Denim, 17, and Diezel, 15.

They married in 2001 before splitting in 2009. Their divorce was finalised four years later.

Toni Braxton’s biggest song is probably Un-break My Heart, from her album Secrets in 1996.

It’s widely considered to be one of the greatest power ballads to ever exist and was at the number one spot for 11 weeks.

Other big hits include Breathe Again, from her self titled debut album and Let It Flow, which was released in 1996.

She’s also well-known for I Love Me Some Him, Another Sad Love Song and Hands Tied.
