Big Bang Theory: Jim Parsons talks to audience after blooper

The Big Bang Theory followed the journeys of Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons), Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki), Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), growing up from high school nerds to scientists in mostly happy relationships. The CBS comedy ran for 12 seasons with Howard initially being the sleazy one of the group. But everything changed for him when he met his future wife Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch).

Howard was introduced to Bernadette in season three by Penny (Kaley Cuoco) as they worked at the Cheesecake Factory together.

At first, it wasn't clear if the two would go the distance as Howard was still fixated on wanting to be with a model but eventually he got over this and jumped into the relationship.

He and Bernadette got married two seasons later and went on to have two children.

He was the first to be coupled off if you discount Leonard's on-off relationship with Penny.

How tall is Bernadette from Big Bang Theory? 

One of Bernadette's most notable physical traits in The Big Bang Theory is her height.

The majority of the cast tower above her in every scene and is seen as a pocket rocket, as while she is small in stature, she makes up in personality and sometimes aggression.

Bernadette is portrayed by actress Melissa Rauch who stands at just 4ft 11in.

She was the perfect height for Howard as he stood at 5ft 4in.

Fans noticed her height the most though when she stood next to Sheldon.

Actor Parsons who portrayed the annoyingly talented scientist was by far the tallest out of the group.

He is 6ft 1in which means there is more than a foot between the two stars of the show.

But Parsons was much taller than all of his main co-stars.

Leonard was 5ft 5in, Raj 5ft 7in, Penny 5ft 6in and his future wife Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) was 5ft 4in.

The comedy ended two years ago now after a whopping 12 seasons and 279 episodes in total.

While there won't be any more new episodes, fans can still see watch reruns that are shown on CBS and E4 in the UK.

Some of the cast members have also been busy working on other projects.

Actress Rauch has been working as a voiceover actress in the children's animated series The Chicken Squad as Dinah.

She will also be in the upcoming series Night Court which has just been announced.

Elsewhere, Cuoco starred in comedy-drama The Flight Attendant and actress Mayim Bialik now has her own series Call Me Kat.

The Big Bang Theory is available to watch on CBS and E4.
