How tall is Lil Wayne? Lil Wayne is 5 feet, 5.5 inches tall. Weezy’s height makes him one of the smaller (and more appropriately nicknamed) rappers in the game, but what he lacks in physical stature he more than makes up for with his lyrical prowess and prodigious output. As per his Wikipedia page, Lil Wayne has released 10 studio full-lengths, a remix album, 25 mixtapes, and no fewer than 134 singles. He’s a giant in his field, even if he’s shorter than most of his peers.

Lil Wayne’s 5-foot, 5.5-inch frame makes him shorter than Jay-Z and Drake (both 6 feet, 2 inches), T.I. and Kanye West (both 5 feet, 9 inches), and even diminutive R&B star Usher (five feet, 8 inches, give or take). Wayne is also shorter than Brandy and Beyonce (both 5 feet, 7 inches), not to mention Rihanna, who’s a commanding 5 feet, 8 inches. If nothing else, Wayne has the edge on the “female Weezy,” Nicki Minaj, who stands a mere 5 feet, 4 inches tall.

Still, Wayne isn’t the shortest hip-hop star. He’s likely taller than rapper Plies, who reportedly stands between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches, and he’s got plenty of height on Geto Boys great Bushwick Bill, who’s only 3 feet, 8 inches. And besides, hip-hop is all about reinvention and telling the world how you wish to be perceived. As such, Weezy’s song “6 Foot 7 Foot” does a better job than any tape measurer of answering the question of how tall he is.
