On February 4, 2007 Prince performed the halftime show of Super Bowl XLI at Dolphins Stadium in Miami Florida. The performance is widely regarded as the best performance ever on Super Bowl Sunday. Although never mentioned anywhere else, I assume the colors must have been planned to match the uniform colors of the home team Miami Dolphins.

In 1981, Oingo Boingo released their debut new wave album “Only A Lad”. In 1981, Oingo Boingo released their debut new wave album “Only A Lad”. I’ve always been a bit intrigued by the “boy scout” inspired album cover that has several easter eggs on it.

Oingo Boingo Only A Lad Normal Rockwell Boys Scouts of America. The cover is a redecorated version of this 1960 Boy Scouts of America official handbook, illustrated by Norman Rockwell.
