Why do people think the heights submitted by teams were somehow more legit than anything else. Teams could have submitted whatever they wanted. As far as I know there was nothing in place to regulate them or verify them.Of the older players you listed, I think there are a few old measurements on Kobe and Jordan that had them both a little under 6'5 without shoes, with 6'11 wingspan. Pippen has an Olympic measurement somewhere at 6'7 without shoes and a 7'3 wingspan. You can dig up some dream team measurements out there somewhere. We lost a lot of reputable measurement mentions in old draftexpress articles.I'll take measurements from a draft combine, a prospect international event like hoop summit, a college combine. Those things have come across as pure objective measurements. I'll also accept that some players obviously grow (Durant, Giannis, Paul George seem pretty obvious. Lebron came into the league at 6'7" without shoes... maybe he grew an inch, but 6'9" barefoot sounds sus). This thread is bound to immediately dissolve into people posting pictures from all kinds of angles and perspectives (with no understanding of foreground, background etc) as proof of different guys heights. I'll take an objective measurement if there is one. If there isn't, I'm left wondering about the guys height over his career... and I can live with that. "Being in my home.
