Adjusting the left stop, or left edge, of a sprinkler with a fixed left stop is easy. You’ll have to unscrew the sprinkler but don’t let this scare you. It’s simple and I’ll show you how irrigation repair can be done by anyone! Simply twist the nozzle all the way to the right, then all the way to the left to find the current left stop. Then unscrew the sprinkler rotor from the body and pull it out. Then point the left stop to where you want it to end, and put it back together. Setting the left stop this way works on the rainbird rotor 32SA, 42SA, 52SA, 3500, 5000, 6504 & 8005 series sprinklers. It will also work for many other brands as well.
