How do you allow Snapchat camera access?
- On iPhone: Open your iPhone’s Settings. Tap “Privacy,” then tap “Camera,” then toggle the Snapchat switch.
- On Android: Open your Android’s Settings. Tap “Apps,” then tap Snapchat, then tap “Permissions.” Toggle the Camera switch. Select “Allow only while using the app.”

4 Tap the Snapchat switch. If camera access isn’t turned on for Snapchat, the toggle switch will be gray. Simply tap on it to allow access, and the switch will turn green.[2] -
