Joined Dec 30, 2007 Messages 127 Reaction score 1 I'll occasionally wear a light-weight t-shirt underneath my dress shirts. When I wear a white dress shirt, the outline of the undershirt is visible. How do I avoid this? Should I buy different white dress shirts? I prefer broadcloth as opposed to oxford cloth. Would I have this problem with a two-ply broadcloth shirt? Would something like 140s work better than 100s? I'm looking forward to your input! robin

I don't think it's embarrassing to see. alternatively, you might try to wean yourself off of undershirts. gdl203

I occasionally wear a barong tagalog (see pic below) which is more translucent than your regular white shirt. Under it I wear a close fitting white undershirt that I've tanned a bit with tea (from a regular Lipton teabag).
