How hard can it be to be a cat? Somewhat hard, as this illustrated guide by Lisa Swerling & Ralph Lazar will show you. It lists many of the intricate behaviors that distinguish a real cat from what I assume are cheap cat knock-offs (like “kat” or “cot”). Do you lick your humans at 3am? Do you ask for attention, then wriggle away once they pick your up? Then you’re well on the way of being a real, certified cat.
